Saturday, April 29th, from 12-4PM we are having a party to celebrate all things oysters! TOGA (the Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association) is coming back to provide a demonstration on how to build your own oyster float at 12PM. This is a great way to learn about growing your own oysters and the benefits of gardening for our rivers. Arnest Seafood will be here selling lunch, along with a raw bar from Steamboat Wharf Oyster Company, and drinks available to purchase. Life in the Northern Neck is setting up with their locally crafted clothes & gifts, and Capt Tom's Oyster Floats will be selling spat. And to round it out, live bluegrass music! So come on down for a Spring day by the river and embrace our local oyster culture.
