OYSTER GARDENING 101

This one-hour session, co-sponsored by the Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association and the Yeocomico Club in Kinsale, will provide beginning oyster gardeners and enthusiasts an introduction to setting up your own oyster garden. Conducted by Master Oyster Gardeners, this program will touch on topics such as starting and maintaining your garden, the health and safety considerations, understanding oyster anatomy and where to find all the resources you need. Bring us your questions and we are happy to help! After the class you can enjoy fried oysters and oyster stew at the Cople Fire Department stall in the Kinsale Park as a part of the Christmas in Kinsale celebration.
